Asus Ships Eee PC 1004DN In Taiwan

The Asus Eee PC 1004DN, which initially consisted of a bow at CES earlier this year has finally started to ship in Taiwan, but there is no word on whether it will be made available to those outside the country in the near future.
After conversion, the Eee PC is 1004DN for about $ 608, which is pretty expensive, even if you have the advantage that a fingerprint scanner for better security and a built in CD DVD burner.
They keep a watchful eye on the battery life but, as you surely do not want to end with a case of batteries during your trip, just because of over-burning of photos and films, before it becomes home.
