MSI X340 Review
We had our first glimpse of the MSI-X-Slim laptop at CES, but it is till now for the British public to get their hands on it. According to the fact that the UK launch, I thought you could be any interest in my first impressions of the X340.Given the importance of first impressions, MSI also has the styling of the X340. Pick-up to the X340 and 1.3 kilograms of his weight, is little more than many Netbook is also impressive.
The single-core, 1.4GHz SU3500 CULVER processor will not blow away everyone with his performance, but it’s a damn sight better than even a Singe-Core Atom CPU. It is important, however, his power – and the entire platform to it – is significantly lower than that of a standard notebook with Intel.
The 13.4in screen has an LED-backlit 1366 x 768 pixel panel – once again besting the air – which is nice and crisp and good. I would still prefer a higher resolution, but for most I think that should be about right. 2 GB of RAM and a 320 GB hard drive are not what you mean.
Connectivity is very good, with a pair of USB ports (the double of the infamous Air), both HDMI and D-Sub video output, an SDHC card and an Ethernet jack. If I were a criticism of the short time I had with an X340 is that the keyboard is a little “mushy”, but it should not be a deal breaker.
