Because of its high color display HP has opted for their Dream 8730w Color mark treatment, but this should not be confused with the kind of performance which LP2480zx amazing. This is also a certified vPro system, it is beautiful with a corporate network using the Intel management protocols. Network Connectivity, meanwhile, is comprehensive. There are the fast Gigabit Ethernet ports, in addition to the Draft-N Wi-Fi for faster and wider wireless and Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR for seamless connectivity to mobile devices.
There are four USB ports in total, one on the left side, three on the right side, and these are covered by an eSATA port, mini-FireWire, a 54mm ExpressCard slot, Ethernet port, modem port, a smart Card slot, headphone and microphone jacks, and a multi-card reader. Only video connectivity can be very criticized, because we want to see DVI or DisplayPort-accession of the HDMI and VGA offered here. Given the size of the machine, it seems hardly rhyme nor reason for this exclusion – in particular, DVI – which is probably better suited for connection to external monitors.
