Toshiba and Sun produce OpenSolaris
Sun Microsystems and the electronics giant Toshiba is close to a new line of Open Solaris laptops, this is with the software already installed and is supported by Sun Microsystems. 
The idea is to developers a platform to show their work, with applications such as Time Slider, which allows the user to immediately images by using an open-source application.
