HP/Voodoo’s New Firefly Concept Laptop
Go ahead and Stare in awe at HP Voodoo ‘s laptop concept as the Firefly. You can not see it on the market, but it is a machine.
The screen is a whopping 17.1 inches with 1920 x 1200 resolution. It also comes with a second screen is 4.3 inch with 800 x 430 resolution. I can imagine, the second figure would come in handy for checking e-mails or instant messaging.
If the second screen is not enough to sell, then you should see the Firefly game Far Cry 2 with settings to “very high”. Not many laptops, including the gaming type, that is feasible. As for what is inside, it has a 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo CPU, 4 GB of RAM, a 250 GB hard drive with 7200 rpm, and two ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3870 GPUs set Crossfire mode.
It also has multi-touch trackpad that for some reason, is on the side. The keyboard is backlit, and the audio Creative X-Fi. Not only the Firefly has a built-in webcam, but the camera can see in the darkness with night vision equipment.
So it could be a while, if ever, before the Firefly shines its light. Just so you know, the Firefly weighs slightly more than most laptops with 13 pounds. Maybe you’d like a bag for this one.
