Philippine traders PC Corner has set up a product page for the new 10-inch version of the Acer Aspire One. According to PC Corner, the Netbook is the Acer Aspire 103, and in addition to the larger 10-inch display, will Intel Atom N280 CPU with GN40 chipset instead of the common Intel Atom N270 CPU with the 945GSE chipset.

I have reports on the new name and a new chipset, but I have taken to reporting on it, because I had the impression that the new Intel Atom N280 CPU wouldn ‘t be for a few months, while I expect that the new Acer Aspire One netbooks to take the shelves sometime in February. The Asus Eee PC S101H is basically an Eee PC with a hard drive instead of a solid-state disk. I have a chance to see, one at CES, but not think too much of them because they seemed to have almost exactly the same specifications as the Eee PC S101, up to 10.4 “x 7.1″ x 1 “dimensions. I’ve also said that there are currently no plans to release the S101H in the U.S..
