Apple MacBook Pro

The Intel Core Duo powering MacBook Pro is actually two processors in one chip. This, together with countless other technological leaps, boosts performance up to four times higher than the PowerBook G4. With this awesome power, it is a breeze to the complex 3D models, enjoy smooth playback of HD video, or host a four-way video conference. Intel Core Duo is Intel’s first chip with the help of groundbreaking 65-nanometer process – what transistors so small, you can fit one hundred inside a single human cell. With smaller distances for electrons to travel, and two processors to share resources and conserve power, Intel Core Duo achieve higher performance, because there are fewer watts. What makes it possible to create a super-powerful MacBook Pro, the only one inch thin?

Dell Studio XPS 16 is a videophile’s dream machine

Dell XPS 16 multimedia Laptop

The new XPS-16 multimedia notebook from Dell with a glossy black casing with anodized aluminum and leather accents, a backlit keyboard, 1920×1080 and an LED-backlit LCD with wide viewing angle for a wonderful experience with the ads in slot-loading Blu-ray player. 2 stereo speakers and subwoofer an internal drive the sound, excellent bass for a laptop.

It comes standard with a Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4GHz processor, which is very good video encoding results, and is upgradable to the 2.8 GHz T9600 Core 2 Duo processor for an even better number crunching power.

The XPS-16 is equipped with a variety of ports, Firewire, 3 USB ports, 8-in-1 card reader, dual headphone jacks, and even an eSATA port.

The XPS-16 will come with the ATI Mobility Radeon M86XT graphics card with 512 MB of memory. This card is also known as the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3670, which is around 4500 3D marks 1280×768 resolution.

Netbooks Get A Much Needed Graphic Card Boost

Are your Netbook sucking, and so was Nvidea and they have decided to try to do something about it by infusing his Gefore 9400M graphics card in the Intel Atom processor, and they encourage the Nvidea Ion. So pretty much you get a little special graphics card inside your Intel Atom Netbook.

What does this mean from a power position? Nvidea is promising 5x faster graphics and video transcoding 10x faster compared to a standard nuclear-powered Netbook. It is also said that you will be able to play modern games such as Call Of Duty 4 with a respectable frame rate of about 25-30 fps. Nvidea has also reported that you will be able to play 1080p movies without any effort at all and the Nvidea ions are in a position to Windows Vista Premium and 7th These are some high standards, they are offering for a graphics card that is small enough to fit into a Netbook.

Well, I do not think anyone will know until the first releases Nvidea ions on netbooks in the summer of 2009.

Dell Inspiron Mini 12 Notebook Review

Dell has teamed up with a new Inspiron notebook, for its very large number of laptops. This time it is the Dell Inspiron Mini 12th It is very similar to Dell Inspiron Mini 9 It unless it comes with a 12-inch screen instead of a 9-inch, and there is also a much needed performance upgrade.

Here is a quick spec list:

  • Screen size: 12 inches (1280 x 800)
  • Intel Atom 1.33GHz processor
  • 3 cell battery (3 hours-of-Life) * Even a 6-cell upgrade
  • 40 GB PATA hard drive (4200rpm)
  • 1 GB DDR2 RAM 533MHz
  • Vista operating system

As you can see, the details are not too large, but they are pretty good for a budget portable laptop. The laptop is designed for the data by offering a very low price of only $ 500, and it comes with a larger keyboard than most mini-netbooks. The notebook is also very portable. Weighing only 2.72 kilograms and is only 92 cm thick makes this Netbook to compete with rivals in weight and thickness. This notebook is ideal for all companies go to the person who wants a notebook that is not too big to some light, but not so small that it is difficult to enter. I believe that with the Inspiron Mini 12, Dell has finally reached a sweet spot between the Inspiron Mini 9 and its normal size Inspiron laptops.

HP DV5T Reviewed

HP DV5T Laptop

HP has decided to up there, on the laptop market with a new line of laptops this summer. The new line of laptops, but HP dv5t is it for me. The dv5t combines the best of both worlds by providing a reasonable price and top quality. The dv5t starts at low price of only $ 749.99, but depending on what parts you want, you can see the prices start to hover around $ 1000 rather quickly. Right now the Barebone kit is only as good as its going to at this time.

Here is a quick data sheet:

  • Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1 (64-bit)
  • Intel (R) Core (TM) 2 Duo processor P7350 (2.0 GHz)
  • 15.4 “diagonal WXGA HD BrightView widescreen display (1280 x 800)
  • 2 GB DDR2 System Memory (2 DIMM)
  • Intel (R) Graphics Media Accelerator X4500
  • 250GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
  • 6-cell lithium ion battery

Of course I would not recommend using a computer factory spec, good, because that would simply be too easy, but actually, you should have to update the list to your specific needs. A good example of this computer if you play video games on your laptop. This laptop is the best video game I have the laptop all year for the price. With only a few upgrades you can use your HP dv5t with high-end games like crisis. To play video games on the HP dv5t I would recommend an upgrade to the 9600m GT graphics card, P8400 (2.26 GHz) processor, and perhaps even with the updated display 1680 x 1050. The upgrades may be expensive, but if you look at the alternatives such as Alienware or XPS laptops, you will see that you save a lot of money.

The notebook is by far the most versatile laptop I have seen. You can also convert from HP dv5t to a great movie player. The dv5t supports a Blu-Ray player upgrade option for only $ 200 and make sure that the upgrade screen to 1680 x 1050, to really enjoy the quality of the Blu-ray. Even if you are thinking of upgrading the hard drive because of the size of the Blu-ray movies, I would only recommend the purchase 500GB external hard drive, so you save money for more space, and keep your computer free of bloat ware.

After looking into the HP dv5t I can say without doubt that I recommend this laptop for anyone who is looking for an affordable laptop, gaming laptop, and also a movie player laptop.
