Sony Vaio AR69GU

Unlike normal  Sony Vaios, which prides itself on its sleek appearance, the AR69 is a giant. This is hardly a surprise, since it has a full-blown desktop replacement. It weighs in at 3.9 kilograms and measures 416 33.5-41.5 299.5 mm (WHD). While this makes it a little smaller than the Acer 8920G, it’s still one of the largest consumer laptops available. In a somewhat unusual step, Sony’s Vaio has a robust hinges statements metallic effect. The metal strip running all the way around the laptop, the mouse buttons have the same surface. Fortunately, this strip is a darker shade of black and silver, and contrasts well with the “Finish”. The AR69GU is very stable, it has a thick plastic body that does not squeak, even at the hardest tap. Neither will it Flex, as it is simply too big and solid.

The keyboard may be a bit small, but it offers a good experience. The buttons provide good feedback and are very comfortable to type on. The only drawback is that the keys sometimes not a click. This is simply because the keyboard on a deep-click system for which the key to beat a little harder than usual. This is not a big problem, touch typists May sometimes funny mistakes.

Dell Inspiron 6400 Core 2 Duo laptop

The 6400, like so much of the Dell range, comes in a variety of custom shapes to think that way when it comes to the performance of numbers and functions, which I’ll be referring to. Indeed, in the time we have the laptop, a Dell offer has boosted the memory to 2 GB from the two 512 MB modules DDR 2 SDRAM in our version.

Our model also  with Intel’s impressive new mobile Core 2 Duo processor, the T7200, which ticks at 2.0 GHz on a 667 MHz frontside bus. 4 MB shared L2 cache to speed things along. Like the entire range of mobile Core 2 Duo processors between 1.0375V and 1.3V and runs relatively cool for its speed.

Moreover, our test unit came with an ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 graphics and the X1300 is not currently on Dell’s website as a standard for all but the base version of the 6400th

Proof of  Inspiron multimedia efforts is the field of seven external play buttons lined up on the front, all fully accessible with the lid closed. These are flanked on both sides of a pair, leading to the loudest stereo speakers I’ve heard from a notebook. And, as the buttons, the speakers are free, when the lid is closed.

The heart of a good notebook is the screen and widescreen 15.4in not disappoint. Our device uses the standard 1280 x 800 display, but with Dell TrueLife glossy. It was bright, sharp and lively as in other similar screens considerations are obvious.

Acer Aspire 4520

120 GB SATA HDD

Nvidia Geforce 7000

14.1 “LCD panel

Powerful laptops are now available at prices unimaginable even months. And one of the key players who have been leading the charge is Acer.

One of the biggest worries, if they have an Acer product is the design and usability. This is a question which is so worrying that many people have often overlooked Acer products because of the needlessly bad reputation they earned from these rumors.

The Acer 4520 is an amazingly well-designed laptop in every respect. To start with, their body is beautiful, with nice thick plastic.

Another major aspect of this laptop is its size and shape. A normal 14-inch laptop is pretty thick and it is often a lot of space wasted.

Similarly, the keyboard offers great tactile feedback, well-spaced buttons and an ergonomic design.

With regard to the peripheral connection, the laptop is not missing ainly cert. It offers a full range of options provided by four USB slots, a card reader and much more.

Asus Eee PC 900 – small and steady

The love of the original Eee PC is no secret. Back from last year Computex in Taipei, we were all contact with geeky enthusiasm for the ultra-portable laptops we’re looking for all our lives.

For a shade over 200, it was everything we wanted from a machine, we can literally take anywhere with us.

An Eee too far? Luckily for Asus, it was not only us, the founding of the first iteration immediately desirable – if you try to search for a new 701 4G is still rare as hen or the teeth of the dog eggs. Now comes the inevitable update the 900, the screening 8.9inch version, which we for the first time on our hands at this year’s CeBIT. Is it so exciting, but now smaller than its predecessor, or is it a Eee too far?

Much better screen

The increase in the resolution is what makes this version of the Eee most special. At 1024 x 600, there are no more fiddly scrolling around web pages or debited your eyes to see what you enter. To be fair to the original 7inch panel still impressive for its size, but we always wanted more.

The Multi-Touch, MacBook Air-style touchpad is a neat addition, you can scroll simply by using two fingers on the pad and sliding up and down. It is a tidier solution than the sometimes unpleasant side scrolling method of 701 You can also use this feature to zoom in and out, easy to handle, but a little short.

Overrides the underclocked processor

Asus also has an updated BIOS allows you to view the Celeron CPU speeds no bearing on the underclocked to 600MHz as standard on the 701 The slightly larger enclosure (about 1cm deep shadows and higher) helps to provide a sufficient cooling, make the system more stable at higher speeds. This is more of a difference should be demanding Microsoft installed on your computer.

We are not without our reservations but with a larger screen and higher power so that a larger block of power, so it must have the 12v the 9.5v of 701 Allegedly offers faster recharge the battery, but the original, with each lead over an extended cable and was just more about the practical move. The higher power inevitably has an impact on battery life – away is the 4-hour period, by about 2.5 hours. Less ideal for the transition.

More memory

The 1 GB of RAM, the pre-installed on the 900 is also slower than the ones embedded in the 701 Only with 267MHz, but is still possible evidence for a beveled corner. It is possible that this was necessary, at the price, but if you get a stick of DDR2 667 for 15, seems unlikely.
